Cell Phone Whore? Or Misunderdstood?
It's no secret that I love uber tech-y phones, so when you spend an UBER amount one, it better do what it's supposed to do, tech wise.
I have the Palm Treo 700p, and all and all, a decent phone... IF IT DIDN'T CRASH SO BLOODY MUCH! Many of my friends, family and a husband who shall remain namless think it's phone Karma... Eww...
It all started in 2003, with a Motorola phone. It sucked and kept crashing. Scott got me a Samsung phone. It was nice, then came video messaging, and Scott would always send me video messages, so I wanted to return the favor. 2005 I got an LG V cast phone. Then a month later Verizon released a Media Player Phone, the LG 9800. I loved it!
Then! I got cranky that @ had to buy ringtones for 2.49 a piece AND! I couldn't use my Bluetooth on my LG because Verison is a beach!
2006, I got my latest cell phone hell with the Palm 700p. This phone kicks ass! It syncs to my contacts, calendar and documents... when it's not crashing. In a fit of rage, I dragged Scott to the Verizon store and got the Samsung u740. Nice phone, but the Palm spoiled me. Scott adopted the u740, and I went back to my 700p. I've traded my in phone 2 times already and finaly someone at Verizon agreed with me that the 700p has some bug issues!
How long will I have to endure a high priced phone with issues and constant ridicule from "friends and family"? What phone could possibly feed my need for smart phone that's not a smart ass?
Cingular, here I come! Come to my boosum iPhone!
To Be Continued...
