Mighty Late...

I have been so far behind on posting Might Woofables strips. Most of which you'll see why today. Sometime, as a writer, I get so many jumbled thoughts and ideas, that it's hard to keep them focused. I spent most of the ALC plotting the rest of the year and when I was doing that, a few things came to light.

1. The stories I wanna tell are mostly about dating, relationships and awkward moments, sexually speaking. Is one "page" really enough space to tell my story? Can I keep a reader's attention past the single page posts I've been doing? This weeks post is three pages long. Oy.

2. Plot twists and turns. Everyone likes a good plot twist, and in the "Woofable World" there are many more to come, can I really pull off a plot twist that makes sense and keep the story interesting?

Here's my delima. I really wanna make Mighty Woofables a comic strip everyone will enjoy and talk about. Right now I'm fighting my writing demons and trying to stay focused as to the the "Why" there's a Mighty Wooofable comic.

It's no secret that Woofables is loosely based on my past experiences, and like it or not, some of those experiences have made me who I am today. Some of the stories I tell are total venting tools. The things we go though on a day to day basis are frustrating and just plain bull shit. Being heavy. Being rejected more times than my Visa card. Being the butt of every joke. Blah, blah, blah. This is my chance to own my past and some how make it useful to others who go through the same trials and tribulations I did.

That said. I may have to reevaluate the purpose of Woofables. It stated out with great intentions, but now, in a short period of time, it seems to have lost it way. It's random, TOO WORDY and hard to follow if you're a new reader. That can't happen. Woofables was my dream come true and I don't wanna fuck it up now.

Luckily for me, I have a great lil brother who's offered to keep me focused and sane. That may be another blog entry in it's self.

i would love 2 read it! maybe if u want u could do a few strips and me & mikey would glady put on blog in a post with a link 2 your site so people would come over 2 read more.
