In Memory of...
This past Saturday Scott and I found out that a good of ours past away.
Jamie Miller.
Jamie was Scott's ex but they remained really good friends. I was lucky to get to be a friend of his. He always made me smile.... not to mention my smoking buddy. Jamie was smart, funny, witty and best of all and great friend.
We went to his memorial today to pay our final respects. Being in that chapel with all the people Jamie's touched made me even more sad. All these people had amazing stories of Jamie, and knowing that there would be no more to tell in the future made it harder to hear. On the other hand what a legacy to leave behind. For jamie to be remembered as wittily sarcastic, sincere, compassionate and dear to many is what makes his passing somewhat bearable.
Jamie... I will always remember you...
