It begins...

Today I decided it was time to venture out to the malls and see what they had for Christmas gifts this year. I can't believe the number of people out there all ready shopping for Christmas. This lady had 9 shopping bags form all over the mall. And she was walking like she was on mission, which clearly meant that she wasn't finished. I know thanks giving is this Thursday, which means that "black Friday" (a name given by retail folks) is just around the corner.

I love shopping... for me... I hate the idea of having to pick out a gift for someone who might give it as "re-gift" next year. I want all my family and close friends to give me a list, that way I can at least spend my money on something I know they will like.

Every time I pass by the Macy's Christmas store, I can't help but look and see what they have for the loft. I plan on getting stockings for the children and a wreath for the front door. The tree is another story. We haven't really talked about what kinda tree to get. I do get the feeling sometimes that Scott is not into the holiday prep, like I am. He may have to teach me to tone it down a bit. Either way I can't wait to get all Christmas'd out.
