L.A.?
I'm the tech support contact person for my district. I've just finished a trouble shooting manual for the stores in my area becuase the one that the we get from our corp. folks reads like it's in German. My boss sent it to her boss, He sent it to his boss, blah, blah, blah... Now, I just got a call from our folks at headquarters offering me a job in L.A. Wow.
Trust me, I'm not a smartie by any means, and the fact that I was even offered a job in L.A. is nice, but I can't help but wonder; "What the hell are they thinking?" I mean, sure I write up a little somthing-something and get a pat on the back, but a job offer? I asked if I could think about it and they said that the'll do what ever it takes. So I then asked, what about if I wanted to stay in Sacramento? "Why?" was the responce I got. Eww, I love Sacramento. The guy who was offering me the job made it sound all glamourious n stuff. Right. I know as soon as I show up I'll never see the streets of Santa Monica Blvd. Ever. Then, I was kinda offended that he sorta slammed Sac-town. I have till the end of the week to decide what I wanna do. "If" Headquarter dude said; they do let me operate in Sacramento, I'd be spending most of time in L.A. anyway. Ugh. And the money? N.I.C.E.! Who knows? I may have to flip a coin to decide my fate.
